The spirit of it

memcard is a diary first and a community second. Write about games the way you'd talk about them with friends: honestly, and without making anyone feel small for what they play or how they play it.

Not allowed

• Harassment, threats, or going after someone across reviews, comments and discussions.
• Hate or slurs aimed at people for who they are.
• Spam: ads, links you're paid to post, the same message again and again, or accounts made to boost ratings.
• Pretending to be someone else, or posting someone's private information.
• Sexual content involving minors, or anything else illegal where you or we are.
• Pirated games, cheats sold for money, or links to either.

Spoilers

Tick Contains spoilers when a review, comment or post gives away plot or late-game surprises. Spoilers are covered until a reader chooses to see them. Unmarked spoilers can be reported and hidden.

How moderation works

• Anything people write has a Report link. Reports go to our moderators with a copy of what was reported.
• Moderators either dismiss a report or hide what was reported (for a profile, its name, bio and picture go back to the defaults).
• When something of yours is hidden, you get a notification saying what it was and why.
• You can block anyone from their profile: neither of you can follow, like, comment on or reply to the other, and you stop seeing each other's activity.
